Donate to House the Homelessness - Congregation Or Ami

Donate to help House the Homeless in SoCal: Or Ami is partnering with Christians, Catholics, Hindus, Baha'is, Islamic Sufis, and other synagogue to build an interfaith coalition to help end homelessness in Southern California. We must alleviate the homelessness affecting more than 58,000 people in LA County, including a large percentage of children and too many veterans of our armed forces. With your donation, Or Ami will:
- expand our interfaith coalition
- develop curricula to teach Torah values of sheltering the homeless
- partner with LA Family Housing org to expand supportive housing with wrap-around services (proven to be a successful strategy)
In addition, we will
- feed the homeless on Christmas eve,
- provide warm jackets and other essentials to address immediate needs
- continue to alleviate hunger with SOVA and Food Forward
