Adult B’nai/B’not Mitzvah Classes
Beginning Tuesday, September 9 – 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm PT (In-Person for first two sessions and then alternating in-person and on Zoom)
This program is designed to deepen your connection to Judaism, explore Hebrew, learn Jewish rituals, study Torah, and culminates in a meaningful shared B’nai/B’not Mitzvah service. We will have two main areas of study: (1) Hebrew – Learning the Language, Jewish Prayers, and Torah (2) Judaica – Jewish Culture, Rituals, and Beliefs
The Adult B’nai/B’not Mitzvah class tuition is $1,000 per year. The class will meet for approximately two years. This fee includes classes and materials. Class participants need to be Jewish and Congregation Or Ami congregants. Recent Jews by choice should speak with Rabbi Kipnes about whether additional study is necessary before pursuing the Adult B’nai/B’not Mitzvah process. It’s never too late to celebrate your Jewish journey
