Challah Making Class via Zoom, with Sarah Rosenbaum Jones (first part)
April 26, 2020 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am
From My Kitchen to Yours: Challah baking is the perfect antidote to our current challenges. It brings us together in community, provides spiritual uplift, and nourishes our bodies. Join Rabbinic Student Sarah Rosenbaum Jones to learn about the traditions and practice of making challah. We begin by making our dough together. After we let our dough rise, we reconvene to create gorgeous 6-strand braids and infuse our practice with spirituality. No prior baking experience necessary. Maximum 10 participants, priority participation for Or Ami congregants. Challah ingredients, including yeast and flour, and certain tools are required; list provided by email after RSVP.
