Postponed Speaker: Dr. Joshua Holo, Dean, Hebrew Union College, Reform Judaism of the 21st Century: American Antidote to Fundamentalism
March 3, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Americans increasingly dig in to their own versions of the Truth, in a kind of civic fundamentalism: We claim we follow in the real spirit of the founding fathers or the most genuine American values. As the antidote to fundamentalism, Reform Judaism can help raise the level of discourse in our country—but only if we’re willing to question our own fundamentalisms, as well.
