Interfaith Education on Homelessness Shabbat with Clergy from other religious groups (Rabbi Kipnes, Rabbi Weisz, Cantor Cotler, Rabbinic Intern Bargeron)
Our rabbis and cantor join with our interfaith partners (clergy and laity) to learn about the challenge of homelessness in our community. Enjoy a brief Shabbat service and an engaging educational program presented by Sukkat Shalom, Or Ami’s congregants organizing to reduce homelessness. What: The third annual Solidarity March is 1.4 miles long, will include singing, chanting, marching, and a chance to build interfaith relationships When: Sunday, October 27. Registration opens at 12:45 and we will begin promptly at 2pm. After the closing ceremony dinner will be served by the Sikhs of Los Angeles (around 4:30pm). Where: We begin at Valley Beth Israel, 13060 Roscoe Blvd, travel to St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 14061 Roscoe Blvd, and finish at Panorama Presbyterian, 14201 Roscoe Blvd.
