STEPHANIE ESHEL
Stephanie Eshel, a transplant to Los Angeles, grew up in Omaha, NE where she found a passion for Judaism through NFTY and the URJ Summer Camp, Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute. As Or Ami’s BMitzvah Coordinator, Stephanie is excited to help families navigate this beautiful milestone in their lives. She is also helping create an online portal so our tech-savvy students can learn Torah and their prayers using the modality with which they are most comfortable.
Stephanie earned her Masters in Jewish Education and Nonprofit Management from the Hebrew Union College Los Angeles, following her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin. She currently teaches at Briskin Elementary School and has worked at Temple Israel of Hollywood for over 15 years, leading their family education religious school and teaching in the day school. Previously, Stephanie was a principal at Temple Judea religious school in Tarzana.
Stephanie loves to cook, read and walk outdoors. She is grateful for her husband, David, and her children Isabel and Eli.
