Do you or your loved ones need masks?
Social Distance Pick Up May 3rd 9:00 – 11:00am at Congregation Or Ami (26115 Mureau Rd # B, Calabasas, CA 91302)
We have received a donation of a significant number of non-woven cloth masks, as part of our 613 Mitzvah Masks project. The donor has asked us to distribute these masks first to our congregants and their families, to ensure everyone has sufficient protection. Additional masks have been designated for essential workers, with whom our congregants are regularly in contact.
We are arranging a physically distanced pick up at the synagogue later this week. Masks are available in quantities of 3, 5 or 10. Congregation Or Ami, its clergy, staff and volunteers, and its donor make no claims or representations about the efficacy of the masks or their effectiveness in preventing coronavirus.
If you or your family members need some of these masks, or if you are able to distribute these masks to other essential workers you are connected to, please fill out this form.
Judaism teaches that the Holy One is called rofei hacholim, Healer of the Sick. May we, through our actions like this 613 Mitzvah Masks, bring health and healing to all of God’s children.
