BROOKE BOTWINICK'S BIO
Brooke Botwinick, a Los Angeles native, grew up with Judaism playing a significant role in her life. Brooke became Bat Mitzvah and was confirmed at Kehillat Israel in Pacific Palisades and continues to be a part of their 20|30’s group. As Or Ami’s Kesher Assistant Principal and Youth Programs Coordinator, Brooke is excited to help our youth and families anchor themselves with the help of Judaism and Jewish tradition.
Brooke most recently served as the Membership Engagement Director, Youth Advisor, and Religious School teacher at Temple Ahavat Shalom in Northridge, California. Previously, Brooke was a Rosh Hodesh and Kol Koleinu leader through Moving Traditions and an Activities Director at Watermark Senior Living. Brooke earned a degree in psychology from Marymount in 2016.
In her free time, Brooke enjoys baking, cooking, art, pilates, and playing with her two cats and dog.
Brooke explains that “I hope that my passion for creativity, teaching, and my natural ability to connect with others will help foster strong interpersonal relationships and deep community at Or Ami. I look forward to crafting programs, engaging with families, and building meaningful relationships. As Moshe Davis wrote, A candle is a small thing. But one candle can light another.
