CATHY SMITH'S BIO
Cathy Smith is the Executive Assistant to Rabbi Julia Weisz and provides support for the Congregation Or Ami school programs. Cathy is passionate about education. She graduated from California State University, Northridge with a degree in Spanish and Elementary education. She was granted the opportunity to teach English in Spain and most recently helped manage a multimillion-dollar grant focused on mentorship, and diversity in research.
Born in East LA and raised in the California desert, Cathy loves to travel, do improv, try new restaurants, take selfies, and enjoy time at home with family and friends.
Cathy is looking forward to growing and supporting everyone here at Or Ami.
