Or Ami’s Food Truck Helps End Hunger

Or Ami partnered with Food Forward, an innovative hunger organization, to purchase a truck and provide maintenance support, to help feed the hungry. Food Forward rescues fresh fruits and vegetables that would normally go to waste from backyard fruit trees, public orchards, farmers markets, and the downtown Los Angeles Wholesale Produce Market. 100% of the produce they recover is donated to hunger relief agencies (including SOVA) across 8 counties in Southern California. Or Ami’s truck will serve over 97,000 people a month! Our truck will recover over 6 million pounds of food each year.
