Indoor Theater Protocols
All participants, volunteers, and all children must wear masks over their nose and mouth from the moment they approach the building until they depart.
- Full vaccination, proof of vaccination, and a current ID will be required from each individual to enter the Theatre/sanctuary. To ensure everyone’s safety, there will be no exceptions. (If you are choosing not to be vaccinated, are not old enough for vaccination, or have a medical exemption, we ask that you choose livestream services.) Please arrive 30-45 minutes early as lines will be longer and slower to ensure safety and socially distant passage through the metal detectors.
- Seating capacity is reduced. The Theatre will be limited to approximately 60% capacity. We will ask people to socially distance inside and outside.
Outdoor High Holy Day Camp Protocols
All participants, volunteers, and all children must wear masks over their nose and mouth from the moment they approach the building until they depart. This allows the children to safely play while the parents pray.
- High Holy Day Camp (formally “youth programs”) will be held outside. Children need to be potty-trained and need to wear masks throughout the camp session. Individually wrapped snacks and drinks will be provided.
- A parent/guardian needs to be onsite in the Kavli Theatre during the entire High Holy Day Camp.
- All participants in High Holy Day Camp must be pre-registered.
Outdoor Family Service Protocols
All participants, volunteers, and all children must wear masks over their nose and mouth from the moment they approach the building until they depart.
- Family services will be held outside, on grass, and under a tent. Full vaccination, proof of vaccination, and a current ID are required for all adults. Masks must be worn by everyone. Casual, outdoor dress is appropriate. Bring chairs or picnic blankets to spread out.
Online Services and Programming
- All services will be livestreamed on oramiLIVE.com, Facebook, and YouTube. Neila Concluding and Yom Kippur Study Sessions are streamed primarily on Zoom. High Holy Day Camp and Tashlich at the Beach will not be livestreamed.
Tickets
- Tickets are required for In-Theatre services and High Holy Day Camp participation. Tickets will be available at will-call beginning one hour before service start time. Please come early to pick up tickets. All participants and volunteers will then remain patiently in another line to individually show proof of vaccination and current ID, and to go through metal detectors.
Thank you for your understanding and openness to these protocols. Our communal brit (shared agreement) to abide by these protocols helps create a COVID-safe experience in which all participants, clergy, and volunteers can be both physically safe and spiritually vulnerable.
